Data visualization

Client: Pfizer, ABRYSVO brand

Platform: Web & iPad

Responsibilities: Content architecture, design

The ABRYSVO team approached me with a request to enhance their RSV surveillance data to encourage healthcare providers in promoting their vaccine. They wanted to display more data regarding regional and national vaccine rates and how they impact those respective populations. Below is a screenshot of the old dashboard.

CDC map of U.S. RSV surveillance by regions showing areas with RSV positivity above 3% in red, and a graph of RSV PCR positivity rate, peaking twice between November 2022 and November 2024, with notes about RSV testing data and vaccine coverage.

The first goal of this project was to update the dashboard design to be more aligned to the branding on https://abrysvoadult.pfizerpro.com/, ABRYSVO’s dedicated site for healthcare providers (HCPs). I did this by updating colors of the map to match those on the website.

Secondly, we wanted to segment data sources to show HPCs why they should recommend ABRYSVO to their patients. I added three tabs above the map. The user toggles between the tabs to display different data sets, and taps on a region in the map to display data specific to that region.

US map showing RSV test positivity rates by region, categorized by color: light blue for <3%, medium blue for ≥3%, dark blue for ≥5%, and navy for ≥11%. Adjacent is a bar chart displaying RSV vaccination coverage for adults aged 60-74 and 75+. Data and sources are attributed to Pfizer and CDC.

Bars labeled "Region 3" with percentages marked as "XX%" for both age groups. Chart annotations include sources and date references from CDC and Pfizer.

The user can dive deeper into the data set and display national data next to regional data. Overall, this was a great improvement in functionality from a dashboard that could previously display only one set of national data.
